The "Tukker" and the "Amsterdammer"
KINEX was founded by two friends with a passion for endurance sports and exercise.
Justin (left) is a former physiotherapist with experience in the sports world. From that background, he worked extensively with athletes and saw firsthand what stress and recovery do to the body. He himself completed the Ironman 70.3 and owns two survival run courses in Amsterdam.
Maarten (right) has run several marathons, with Paris as a personal highlight. In addition to running, he enjoys cycling or playing an enthusiastic game of padel. For him, sports are not a project, but a fixed part of his week.
Together, they are building KINEX based on their own experience as athletes: down-to-earth, driven, and with the conviction that progress begins with keeping going.

Origin of KINEX
Driven by movement, built on experience
At KINEX, our knowledge and experience in the medical sector come together with our passion for sports and entrepreneurship. While the demand for sports nutrition is growing enormously, not everyone uses a compression sock during or after exercise for better recovery. With KINEX, we want to change this.
Our premium socks are produced with the very latest Busi Giovanni machines from Italy, and the compression is precisely measured with Swiss SWISSLASTIC AG ST. GALLEN MST Professional 2 machines. This way, we guarantee the highest quality.
Our goal is to make this quality accessible to more and more athletes. Together with our community, we want to continuously improve KINEX, produce more efficiently, and keep the socks affordable.
